Job Title: Guidewire Lead

Location: Warren, NJ (Onsite 3 days/week)

Duration- Full time/ 12 Months contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with extensive experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) Personal Lines, specifically with strong expertise in Guidewire Policy Center. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement software solutions to enhance insurance products and services. This role requires deep domain knowledge and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Guidewire Policy Center.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and Guidewire technologies.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in P&C Personal Lines insurance with focus on Guidewire Policy Center.
• Proficient in Java and Guidewire development tools.
• Experience integrating Guidewire with other systems.
• Solid understanding of insurance workflows and business processes.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Billing Center and Claim Center modules.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud and cloud deployment.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7–10 years of software development experience with P&C insurance focus.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Guidewire certifications are a plus.

Additional Details

• Recent experience leading P&C product development on Guidewire Cloud.
• Ability to lead a team of configurators, developers, testers, and integration engineers
