Role Summary
Seeking a hands-on Senior Python & MongoDB Engineer to build and support mission-critical, high-volume applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, MongoDB, distributed systems, performance optimization, scalability, resiliency, and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Build and optimize Python applications for performance and reliability.
- Architect and manage enterprise-scale MongoDB deployments.
- Enhance platform scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive platform modernization.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
- Deep expertise in MongoDB (data modeling, indexing, query tuning, replication, sharding).
- Experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of scalability, availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with production monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.
- Ability to optimize systems handling high-volume transactions.
