Job Summary
The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.
Cost Accounting & Inventory Management
- Oversee standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Collaborate with operations to maintain accurate bill of materials (BOMs) and routings.
- Monitor and analyze production costs and margins.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Help with budgeting and forecasting processes across departments.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and capital investment decisions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Promote best practices in financial management and reporting.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
