Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Lumberton, TX, for a Refractory QA/QC Inspector. The Refractory QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met through inspections, quality control, and quality assurance tasks. Day-to-day tasks will include inspecting cast shapes, metallic anchors, welds, fiber products and other elements of refractory installations & product manufacturing, maintaining quality management systems, and documenting findings. The inspector will work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure compliance with all quality standards.
Qualifications
- Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management skills
- Experience with precast shape manufacturing, module manufacturing, and metallic anchors
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications or training in Quality Management and or API 936 Certified a plus
- Experience in the refractory or high-temperature furnace industry is beneficial
Salary : $60,000 - $85,000
