Security Officer - Restaurant in Pittsburg

Pay Rates: $19.25 per hour base up to $1.50 per hour in reimbursements for a total of up to $20.75 per hour 

                       **MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS & WEEKENDS** 

                   Shifts:  Swing - 6pm - 2:30am, 40 hours a week 

                    This is a walking / standing post 

Security - Objective: 

You are an experienced security officer with open availability.  Shifts are nights, weekends & holidays.  Overtime may also be available.  This is a standing/walking post where you will do foot patrols.  You are always polite, professional and courteous. You have your own smartphone and are familiar with common mobile apps. You are always highly visible and follow post orders and client instructions and you like keeping clients and the public safe.  Security - Responsibilities: 

• Keep your Guard Card & BSIS training current.
• Follow company policies, post orders and client instructions.
• Be highly visible and do walking patrols of property.
• Prevent trespassing, theft & vandalism.
• Report your activities on smart phone app(s).
• Alert law enforcement when a crime or emergency occurs.
• Work all hours assigned.
• Be polite and professional
• Other tasks as they are assigned.

Security -  Skills Required: You must stand and walk while on duty. Always be alert and sometimes work during adverse weather conditions. Good verbal and writing communication in English. Be on time and you may work alone for long periods of time. Good teamwork skills and leadership skills to set a good example for others and be promoted. 

Security - Requirements: 

• Have a valid California Guard Card.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a working smart phone with mobile data.
• Work weekends and holidays.
