Delta Protective Services is hiring a Restaurant Security Officer for a walking and standing post in Stockton. This position is for someone reliable, professional, alert, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay and Schedule:

- $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

- Friday - Tuesday, 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM

• Weekends and holidays required
• Overtime eligible
• Weekly Pay

Job Objective:

You are an experienced security officer with availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. You are polite, professional, and courteous, work well in a public environment and have a good attitude. You have a smartphone, use common mobile apps, stay highly visible, follow post orders and client instructions, and help protect people, property, and peace of mind.

Responsibilities:

• Keep Guard Card and BSIS training current
• Follow company policies, post orders, and client instructions
• Stay highly visible and conduct walking patrols
• Help prevent trespassing, theft, vandalism, and property damage
• Report activities using smartphone apps
• Alert law enforcement when a crime or emergency occurs
• Work all assigned hours
• Be polite, professional, and courteous
• Complete other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Valid California Guard Card
• Reliable transportation
• Working smartphone with mobile data
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert during the shift
• Good verbal and written communication in English
• Must comply with DPS drug-free workplace policy and screening requirements
