Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This position is responsible for preparing, organizing, and loading customer orders while ensuring products are accurately processed and shipped on schedule. The ideal candidate has shipping or warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments according to customer orders and company procedures
- Verify product quantities, labels, and shipping documentation for accuracy
- Package, stage, and organize finished products for shipment
- Load and unload materials and finished goods safely
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Maintain an organized and safe shipping area
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely order completion
- Assist with inventory movement and general warehouse duties as needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with shipping documentation, labels, and order processing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Forklift experience/certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to safely handle warehouse materials and equipment
