Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Packaging Equipment

Pay Rate: Up to $30/hour, based on experience

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in maintenance, preferably with experience in packaging equipment. This role is key to ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and safely. You'll perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while working closely with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery and packaging equipment

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

• Conduct routine inspections and proactively address equipment issues

• Assist in the setup and installation of new machines and systems

• Collaborate with production to ensure equipment is running efficiently

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used

• Follow all safety procedures and support a safe work environment

• Provide support for general troubleshooting across departments

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or packaging setting

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Experience with packaging equipment (e.g., conveyors, filling machines, labelers)

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

• Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
