Position: Forklift Operator / Production Associate (Injection Molding Environment)
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be forklift certified, bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), and mechanically inclined. Experience in injection molding or similar manufacturing processes is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and finished goods
- Support production operations in an injection molding or manufacturing environment
- Assist with machine operation, setup, and basic troubleshooting as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety standards
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output requirements
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Learn and grow into higher-level responsibilities (warehouse lead or foreman potential)
Requirements
- Forklift certification (required)
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred)
- Mechanically inclined with ability to learn equipment and processes
- Prior manufacturing or injection molding experience (preferred, not required)
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to safety and quality standards
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Schedule
- Initial training schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Transition to 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) expected in July
Compensation
- Starting pay: $20/hour
- Pay increase upon transition to 2nd shift, based on performance and placement (warehouse lead or foreman potential)
