Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Springfield, NJ. We are looking for a dependable, professional individual who enjoys working with customers, has strong computer skills, and can effectively troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, communicates well, and is comfortable working with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by phone and email
- Answer customer questions regarding products, orders, deliveries, and service
- Enter and maintain accurate customer and order information
- Investigate customer concerns and identify appropriate solutions
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments
- Process and update information using computer systems
- Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Prioritize multiple customer requests while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle customer concerns professionally and calmly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Manufacturing or building-products experience is a plus
