Join our dynamic team as a Second Shift Clamp Truck Driver and Inventory Helper, where you'll be the driving force behind efficient warehouse operations during the evening hours. Duties
- Safely operate clamp trucks, lift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment to load and unload shipments with precision.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately picking orders using order picker equipment and updating warehouse management system records.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs on forklifts and clamp trucks to maintain optimal safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate materials handling activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment by properly storing materials on pallets or racks and adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist in warehouse distribution tasks such as inventory counts, cycle counting, and supporting warehouse management system updates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including clamp trucks, reach trucks, forklift (lift truck), Hi-Lo, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs when necessary.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations; committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and handle materials manually with proper techniques for safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
- Previous warehouse experience or supervisory experience is a plus; familiarity with shipping & receiving processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions clearly.
