What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Distribution - Sales/Merchandising Representative position at DELTA PACIFIC BEVERAGE?
Delta Pacific Beverage is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, reliable candidate for our Driver Sales position. This candidate preferably would have 1-2 years of experience in Sales and merchandising product. This role is perfect for an early riser with a consistent schedule (Monday-Friday, early AM start time)
WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:
- Write and deliver orders products and upsell our popular brands/products
- Delivering and properly rotating stock
- Consistently adhere to route schedule which starts around 5 a.m. daily
- Build and maintain inventory in support of mandated placements
- Build relationships with customers, store receivers and managers
- Use handheld system to key transactions and manage customer data
- Protect company assets, including collection of equipment and customer payments
- Complete with accuracy and submit daily all required paperwork
- Responsible for reporting quality and/or distribution issues to Supervisor on a timely basis
- Accountable for accuracy of each load, notifying Supervisor and appropriate Warehouse personnel immediately regarding any discrepancies
- Safe vehicle operation, including, but not limited to; AM/PM vehicle inspection reports, visual vehicle inspection (walk around), cleanliness of vehicle, professional, courteous and safe driving techniques
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- 24 Years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid divers license and have a good driving record
- Proficient with current technology, i.e. computers and smartphones
- Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
