This is a full-time, on-site Engineer position located in Charlotte, NC. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mold tooling and manufacturing processes to meet client specifications. Key responsibilities include creating and analyzing technical designs, troubleshooting engineering challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting tool feasibility studies, and supporting ongoing production and repair activities. The role requires a strong focus on precision, quality assurance, and process improvement to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Proficiency in mold design, 3D modeling, and CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent
- Expertise in tool feasibility studies, process optimization, and mold troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015-certified manufacturing environments is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role within the injection molding or manufacturing industry
