Responsibilities
- Engage in outside sales efforts by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, community events, and networking to generate new business opportunities
- Conduct a thorough analysis of clients’ insurance needs to recommend appropriate coverage options
- Negotiate terms and policies with clients, ensuring mutual understanding and satisfaction
- Manage sales administration tasks including processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details clearly, and guiding clients through the purchasing process
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products effectively across various channels
- Assist with benefits administration for existing clients, ensuring they understand policy benefits and updates
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales or insurance sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to clearly articulate product benefits and address client concerns
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable coverage options
- Proficiency in sales administration tools and CRM systems for tracking leads and managing client information
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus for understanding confidentiality requirements in insurance practices
- Ability to perform telemarketing effectively while maintaining a professional rapport with prospects

- Canidates must have an active Life and Health insurance License
