What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at Delta Janitorial Systems, Inc?
For over 50 years, Delta Janitorial Systems has built its reputation on integrity, consistency, and service excellence. We don’t just clean buildings — we protect client trust and transform lives through opportunity and service.
We hire for mindset first. If you believe success is best achieved when everyone wins, you’ll feel at home here.
About the Role
This is not a traditional front-desk admin position.
We’re hiring a Field Admin / Brand Ambassador who represents Delta in the community and supports our clients, contractors, and internal team through clear communication, follow-through, and professionalism.
You’ll spend a significant portion of your time in the field visiting client locations, performing service check-ins, supporting customer needs, and serving as a positive, professional face of the Delta brand. The rest of your time will be spent handling administrative follow-up, coordination, and documentation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys people, variety, ownership, and purpose.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador for Delta Janitorial Systems in the field
- Visit client locations to perform service check-ins and support customer satisfaction
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractors, and internal team members
- Identify and report service issues — and take ownership to help resolve them
- Provide administrative support including documentation, follow-ups, scheduling, and coordination
- Protect client trust by upholding Delta’s standards consistently
- Support others in doing their work well through communication and accountability
What We’re Looking For
We’re only interested in Win-Win people — team members who uplift others and take pride in doing things the right way.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Are professional, positive, and dependable
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers
- Take ownership when issues arise instead of passing blame
- Enjoy being out in the field and interacting with people
- Follow through on commitments
- Believe your work should make a difference
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel required)
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Strong organization and follow-up habits
- Customer service or administrative experience preferred (but mindset matters most)

- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- No nights, no weekends
- Be home for dinner every night
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly or salaried pay (based on experience)
- Mileage reimbursement
