Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out processes using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Manage reservations and room assignments efficiently while ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and offering local information or amenities details
- Handle phone communication professionally, including booking inquiries, cancellations, and general questions, adhering to excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and respond swiftly to any incidents or safety concerns during your shift
- Support night audit activities by reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring financial accuracy at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to coordinate guest requests and resolve property-related issues
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred, especially in hotel or resort environments
- Familiarity with hotel management systems such as OPERA or property management software (PMS) is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve effectively and communicate clearly in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations best practices, and night audit processes is advantageous
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capabilities during evening or overnight shifts is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle phone communication professionally and maintain excellent client relations in diverse settings
