About the Role
As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will perform high-quality radiographic and CT procedures using advanced imaging technology. You’ll apply independent judgment, technical expertise, and compassionate patient care to produce accurate diagnostic images.
You’ll also operate CT scanners, position and prepare patients, administer contrast media, ensure safety and comfort, and uphold the highest standards of image quality and quality control.
What You’ll Do
- Safely transport and position patients for optimal imaging
- Operate state-of-the-art CT equipment
- Use positioning aids to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Follow all radiation protection and safety protocols
- Administer oral and IV contrast media as ordered
- ?Assist Radiologists with special procedures
- Help train and mentor Radiology students
- Maintain clean, stocked, and prepared exam rooms
- Keep accurate and complete imaging records
- Evaluate all exams for technical quality
Qualifications You Bring
- Two years of experience preferred
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registered
- CT certification required
- Current BLS certification
