What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Financial Services - Billing Specialist position at Delta Health System-The Medical Center?
Responsible for compiling itemized hospital bills, verifying patient insurance coverage and computing patient insurance benefits
Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred
Minimum of two years’ experience in Hospital and Physician billing preferred
Current knowledge of regulatory and industry issues effecting medical billing including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid requirements regarding filing of claims is preferred
