Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our organization’s financial planning, management, and reporting functions. The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the company, ensuring fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth. This executive role requires a deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting standards, risk management, and strategic development within both profit and non-profit sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing complex financial operations and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, COSO standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Manage treasury functions including cash flow management, risk analysis, and investment strategies to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
  • Lead revenue management initiatives such as revenue cycle management and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Supervise financial reporting processes, including the interpretation of financial reports and preparation of detailed financial statements for stakeholders.
  • Oversee compliance with SOX regulations and manage internal controls to mitigate risks related to financial operations.
  • Lead mergers & acquisitions activities including due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiations, and integration processes.
  • Manage tax accounting functions ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and optimizing tax strategies.
  • Oversee audit processes in collaboration with external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy of financial data.
  • Drive business development efforts through market analysis, strategic planning, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Supervise finance teams responsible for payroll management, expense management, cost management, supply chain finance, and other fiscal functions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes through the implementation of advanced financial software solutions.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards; experience with ASC 606; COSO framework; governmental accounting practices; and technical accounting principles.
  • Proven expertise in corporate finance including mergers & acquisitions, revenue cycle management, risk analysis, and treasury management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising senior finance teams; capable of strategic planning and business analysis at an executive level.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills combined with advanced analysis skills for decision-making support.
  • Proficiency in financial software systems; ability to interpret complex financial reports; expertise in financial report writing and presentation.
  • Deep understanding of risk management concepts including SOX compliance; cost control; expense management; supply chain finance; cost accounting; tax accounting; public accounting; payroll management; revenue management; and financial concepts related to profit & loss statements.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills coupled with business development acumen to foster organizational growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders. Pay: $100,798.59 - $143,069.27 per year
