What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assistant position at Delta H Technologies?
Responsibilities: As an Electrical assistant at DELTA H TECHNOLOGIES, you will be responsible for assisting the electrical foreman in building the electrical panels and assembly of specialty furnaces/ovens. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Work on the production floor assembling, testing, and inspecting components
- Learn wiring methods, electrical drawings, control circuits, and equipment installation
- Perform general electrical repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure that electrical systems continue operating properly
- Adhere to all safety policies, procedures and proper protocols
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and experience levels. While manufacturing experience is a plus, it is not required. We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and abilities:
Basic electrical skills
Ability to read an electrical schematic
Use powers tools on metal
A high sense of urgency to meet all production goals accurately
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and a willingness to use personal
protective equipment
Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout a 10-hour shift
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
