Role Overview 

The Assistant Designer will support our Designer by seeing the design process from start to finish of intimates, sleep and/or shapewear, working on line sheets, coordinating samples, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful design process.

Responsibilities

• Keep samples and closets organized
• Track proto samples, lab dips, and strike offs
• Help prepare for market week
• Assist designer in requesting fabric, trims, and samples from vendors
• Create presentation boards for meetings
• Recolor CADs and prints for line sheets
• Work on design detail sheets and put tech packs into PLM
• Market research/shop at local stores

• Minimum 1 year design experience in internships or corporate experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Strong written and verbal communicator
• Knowledge of garment construction
• Sense of ownership and accountability

This is an in-office role, with 5 days in our Secaucus, NJ office.

PAY RATE: $28-32 an hour
