Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Business Unit Coordinator to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence by coordinating logistics, managing dispatch operations, overseeing vendor partnerships, and optimizing delivery systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Business Unit performance metrics are achieved and maintained.
  • Monitor customer service interactions to ensure professionalism, technical accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members to support development and performance.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a high-performing, service-focused team.
  • Lead improvement initiatives related to sourcing, dispatch, and logistics processes.
  • Review and analyze transportation and financial data to support planning, budgeting, and policy development.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and customers to coordinate scheduling and resolve service-related issues.
  • Respond promptly to escalated concerns, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Develop contingency plans with regional leadership to address unexpected operational challenges such as equipment breakdowns, weather delays, or spikes in demand.
  • Work flexible hours, including occasional after-hours or on-call responsibilities, as business needs require.
Requirements:


  • 3 years of experience in a coordinator or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and professional work environment.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
  • Geographic knowledge of service areas or strong map-reading/navigation skills.
  • Experience in logistics or dispatch operations is preferred but not required.
