Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tool; Work with bins and
augers for the inspection, grading, sorting, storage of crops including lifting and carrying bags of seed, fertilizer; Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment including shoveling to control water levels; Inform farm managers of crop progress; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with John Deere Greenstar GPS) such as combine, sprayer, forklift, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, corn, cotton; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Repair and maintain farm structures; Adjust settings of machinery. Must speak and understand English.
