Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and developing new suppliers
- Requesting and comparing quotations
- Price negotiation and cost reduction initiatives
- Coordinating sample submission and sample approval processes
- Supporting supplier qualification and onboarding
- Working with internal teams such as Buyer, Engineering, Quality, and Planning for supplier evaluation and project support
- Assisting with sourcing strategies to improve supply stability and cost competitiveness
- Conducting annual supplier evaluations / scorecards for key vendors
- 3 years sourcing/procurement experience
- Experience in supplier development and strategic sourcing
- Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills
- Experience with RFQ, supplier qualification, and cost reduction projects
- Ability to coordinate with engineering, quality, planning, and suppliers
- Familiar with manufacturing processes and supply chain operations
- Experience with US/Mexico suppliers is a plus
