Key Responsibilities
An HVAC Technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial, industrial, or residential buildings to ensure optimal climate control and energy efficiency.
- Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems and components.
- Diagnose and repair issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and system tune-ups.
- Test systems for proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
