Job Summary:
The Electrical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and reworking electrical and electronic assemblies that do not meet quality standards. This role ensures products are brought into compliance with specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
- Perform rework, repair, and modification of defective products according to engineering instructions, schematics, and work orders.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Replace or repair faulty components such as wires, connectors, circuit boards, and assemblies.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electronic testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
- Document all rework performed, including parts used and issues identified.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify root causes of defects.
- Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or related field preferred. BSEE is desired.
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, repair, or rework.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with soldering and desoldering techniques.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
- Experience with automated test equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components.
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (as required).
Work Environment:

Compensation for this role is depending on experience and Degree, the range for the compensation is from 60,000 - 100,000
