Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Builder/Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to accurately assemble machinery and industrial equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to construct components and assemble complete machines.
- Install electrical wiring, control panels, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper operation of automated systems.
- Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines for precision machining of parts as needed for assembly.
- Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Fabricate custom parts or modifications using welding, machining, or fabrication techniques to meet specific project requirements.
- Assist with forklift operation for moving heavy components safely within the manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues during assembly and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial assembly environments with a mechanical background
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, industrial equipment wiring, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Experience operating forklifts or industrial lifting equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in manufacturing settings.
