Overview
Immediate opening available for a Crisis Response Specialist for primarily night shift. We are looking for a compassionate, highly resilient individual with great social skills to provide prompt quality phone intervention and support to individuals experiencing emotional crisis/difficulties.
This position requires calm and positive phone etiquette and the ability to provide non-judgmental phone support to those in crisis, determine risk potential, and promptly notifying and/or placing them in contact with a licensed mental health professional, emergency services, and/or other referral sources as appropriate. Experience in behavioral health or emergency service support is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Managing incoming crisis calls, assessing risk potential, and promptly refer/notify the appropriate source for services needed.
- Documenting information in electronic medical records system and other programs such as excel.
- Assisting clinical staff with the placement procedure for commitments.
- Assisting the Crisis Response Center Manager with tasks as needed.
- Tracking various information for obtaining and completing time sensitive documents.
Qualifications
- Excellent skills in multi-tasking, time management, typing, and basic computer skills, including general internet navigation.
- Experience using programs such as Email, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent skills in communication/phone etiquette and teamwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
