Job Summary
We are representing leading electrical contractors seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians for large-scale commercial construction projects.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in commercial electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform in a high-performance team environment. Projects are fast-paced, technically complex, and mission-critical — ideal for electricians who take pride in precision and quality execution.
Primary Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and test electrical systems and components in commercial and data center environments
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to specifications and applicable codes
Bend, cut, and install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) and pull wire throughout structures
Install distribution and control equipment including panels, circuit breakers, relays, busbars, feeders, and switchgear
Terminate and connect wiring to panels, equipment, and devices per NEC and local codes
Operate hand tools and power tools such as hydraulic benders, threaders, pullers, and vacuum cable systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment
Maintain safe, organized work areas and follow all site-specific and OSHA safety protocols
Operate lifts and powder-actuated tools (with required certifications)
Secure tools, materials, and equipment at the end of each shift
Required Qualifications
Active Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent certification where required)
Minimum 6 years of commercial electrical experience
Strong working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
Proven ability to complete work on schedule and within project scope
Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
Lift, push, and pull 50 lbs regularly
Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, standing, and extended use of hands/arms
Must wear required PPE at all times
