Vice President Compensation & Benefits

Vice President Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Establish and execute long-term strategic vision including market expansion and service development
- Partner with executive leadership to align division goals with company objectives
- Identify growth opportunities and lead initiatives to expand market presence
- Represent the division in executive-level planning and decision-making
Operational Management
- Oversee all operations ensuring safe, efficient execution of electrical and automation projects
- Provide leadership to Project Managers, Superintendents, and department teams
- Ensure adherence to safety programs, quality standards, and operational procedures
- Manage P&L, budgets, KPIs, and overall financial performance
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and resource planning
- Manage other branch locations
People Leadership & Culture
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams across operations and project delivery
- Recruit, coach, and evaluate staff while maintaining strong team culture
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
- Lead employee development and succession planning initiatives
Business Development & Client Relations
- Partner with executive and sales teams to drive new business opportunities
- Support pricing strategy, bid reviews, and major proposal development
- Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across business units
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and safety requirements
- Lead risk assessment efforts on major projects
- Support insurance, claims, and operational documentation processes
Vice President Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in the industrial electrical industry
- Minimum 5–7 years of senior leadership experience managing teams and operations
- Proven experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics
- Track record of delivering large-scale electrical projects safely, on time, and on budget
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Necessary
- Experience leading large-scale electrical operations or divisions
- Background in industrial, commercial, and automation projects
- Experience with strategic growth and market expansion initiatives
