Position Summary
The Program Scheduler will ensure that programs are adequately staffed by efficiently assigning DSPs to shifts, handling callouts, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and experience in scheduling or staffing coordination within human services, healthcare, or related fields.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule and assign DSPs to shifts based on program needs, staff availability, and agency policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules, ensuring coverage for all shifts across assigned homes.
- Handle last minute scheduling changes, including callouts and emergencies, while minimizing service disruptions.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly and professionally to DSPs and supervisors.
- Address scheduling conflicts and coverage gaps in a timely manner.
- Ensure all schedules comply with agency policies, staffing requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Document all scheduling activities and maintain accurate records in scheduling software and HR systems.

- Collaborate with Program Supervisors and Managers to anticipate staffing needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Foster strong relationships with DSPs and supervisors to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in scheduling, staffing coordination, or HR support strongly preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
