The Client Service Associate will demonstrate a knowledge base of Delta Community products and services and of the investment industry. They will perform professional-level administrative support, provide tier one phone coverage, support client engagement for Delta Community Retirement & Investment Services (DCR&IS) and ensure all clients receive prompt service and take ownership for complete resolution.

Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform professional-level administrative support and tier one phone coverage for Delta Community Retirement & Investment Services’ (DCR&IS) to assist with member servicing (address changes, inquiries on accounts, account changes, identification of beneficiaries, etc.) and schedule appointments
  • Enter data and maintain client relationship management (CRM) database in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Make follow-up phone calls, appointment reminder calls and manage mailed-in items and correspondence
  • Exhibit attention to detail in the maintenance of advisor calendars and actively pursue “no-show” appointments for reschedule
  • Assist in coordinating client events such as workshops, to include assembling of workshop materials, making room arrangements, ordering and/or purchasing refreshments for attendees, confirming attendance, and providing on-site support during the event.
  • Follow established policies and procedures according to high standards of honesty, fairness, and integrity
  • Stay current on all products/services, compliance requirements, and technology resources

Job Qualifications
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • If not fully licensed at time of employment, will be required to complete the following:
o FINRA Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) exam attempt within four months of onboarding.
  • Maintain strict code of confidentiality, and strong research and problem -solving skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated sales skills aptitude
  • Willing to travel to Atlanta-area branches and work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • General knowledge of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities
  • Experience with data aggregation, manipulation and contact relationship management systems
  • Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) exam completed
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 2 years of credit union or financial services and client phone experience
  • Working knowledge of Symitar
  • Working knowledge and understanding of credit union and broker/dealer products, services, policies and procedures
  • FINRA Series 7, 63 and/or 66
  • Life, Accident & Sickness Insurance license
