Part-Time Facilities Operations Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

Be a part of the many different events the Delta Center hosts for our community, including Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth games, concerts, conventions, family shows, community based events and more. Help ensure our events are a great experience for our guests, and have some fun while doing so. $17 per hour.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help with completing event set up and tear down needs
• Complete on-call tasks as they arise
• Interact with guests as well as other departments within the facilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Utah driver's license. 
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must have the ability to complete tasks on time and follow instructions.
• Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and detail oriented to perform tasks without constant supervision.
• Must be willing to accept directions from a supervisor if work quality is inadequate.
• Must be well organized and flexible to meet time, priority, and workload demands. 
• Warehousing and organization skills.
• Prior forklift and pallet jack experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
• This person must be able to lift 50 lbs
