Shop Porter / General Shop Assistant – Delta Auto
Delta Auto is looking for a dependable and hardworking Shop Porter to help keep our fast-paced automotive and diesel repair shop running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in organization, and works well around vehicles and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Move vehicles around the lot and shop safely
- Keep the shop, parking lot, and customer areas clean and organized
- Assist technicians and service advisors as needed
- Pick up and deliver parts
- Help with shop cleanup and trash removal
- Wash or clean vehicles when needed
- Assist with towing coordination and vehicle intake
- Maintain a professional appearance of the facility
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to drive trucks and larger vehicles preferred
- Dependable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to help
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift heavy parts and stay active throughout the day
