The Director - Corporate Real Estate, Airport Concessions leads Delta’s strategy for maximizing non-airline revenue streams through airport concessions. This role exists to drive growth, diversify revenue, and enhance customer loyalty by shaping how Delta leverages retail, food & beverage, and emerging concession opportunities as competitive differentiators. By influencing airport partners, aligning cross-divisional priorities, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes, the Director ensures concessions become a strategic lever for profitability and brand experience.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute Delta’s airport concessions strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate growth, profitability, and customer experience objectives.
- Serve as Delta’s enterprise subject matter expert and strategic advisor to CRE Airport Affairs, Strategy, Legal, Customer Experience, Brand, Marketing, Network, and Sky Clubs.
- Lead high-value negotiations and manage relationships with airports, master concessionaires, venue operators, and industry innovators to secure favorable terms and expand revenue opportunities.
- Introduce new concession concepts, technologies, and customer experiences based on industry trends to strengthen Delta’s competitive positioning.
- Establish enterprise-wide metrics, reporting, and financial tracking systems, translating data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Planning, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in commercial strategy, real estate, airport affairs, concessions, retail development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex negotiations with external partners (e.g., vendors, landlords, developers, government agencies).
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across multiple functions without direct authority.
- Experience designing or managing commercial programs, revenue strategy, or P&L accountability.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop business cases, interpret financial data, and create reporting frameworks.
- Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into strategic recommendations.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
