How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)
- Serve as project manager and technical expert for Engineering Projects and Maintenance Program task setups.
- Provide business process direction and consulting for Engineering Action Authorizations (AAs) and maintenance tasks.
- Act as liaison between Engineering and other departments to ensure timely project execution.
- Manage project activities to meet cycle time targets and escalate issues as needed.
- Apply Theory of Constraints and Critical Chain Project Management principles to improve productivity.
- Ensure AA setups meet compliance standards for ADs and SCEPTRE system requirements.
- Facilitate AD coordination, Project Strategy, and Design Freeze meetings.
- Mentor engineers and maintenance staff on complex setups and SCEPTRE basics.
- Maintain professionalism, customer focus, and safety-conscious behaviors in all processes.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Experience in project management and technical consulting for engineering processes.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, troubleshoot, and synthesize information for AA setups.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Delta systems (EARTH, AACS, SCEPTRE, AMDS).
- Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- A&P License or B.S. in Engineering.
- Knowledge of Theory of Constraints and Critical Chain Management.
- Strong relationship management and team collaboration skills.
