What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable quantitative field
- 3 years' experience in scientist or analyst capacity
- Strong background in modeling, optimization, and algorithms
- Experience in designing, developing and implementing optimization tools
- Excellent programming skills (C , Python)
- Experience in using commercial optimization solvers such as CPLEX, Gurobi and Xpress
- Experience with algebraic modeling language such as AMPL
- Experience with GIT and DevOps
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and prioritizations skills
- Ability to work well collaboratively and independently
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- 1 year of Airline experience, particularly in the Disruption Management field
- Experience in developing and deploying applications to AWS
