How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)
- Developing and maintaining Methods of Manufacture for all parts produced at DFP
- Developing and maintaining Work Instructions for standard work performed at DFP to
- comply with DFP’s Quality Control Plans and to achieve consistent product
- Review day-to-day tool and gauge needs at the job level to ensure work being issued
- to the Production floor is ready to be worked in the timef rame needed
- Use CAD/CAM tools to design and manufacture tooling and work aids for manufacturing
- and testing
- Evaluating daily needs for technical assistance f rom the Production work cell areas to
- facilitate work in-progress
- Identifying root cause of any product failure related to production error or process
- failures in the Production department
- Work with team to identify and lead data drive continuous improvement projects
- across manufacturing
- B.S. in engineering or related scientific field. Equivalent experience may be substituted
- Three (3) years overall work experience, two (2) of which are in an engineering role.
- Must be proficient with 2D CAD systems and MS Of fice programs.
- Must be organized and an ef fective worker, presenting good communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle management (PLM) sof tware and 3D CAD systems
- Knowledge of aircraf t interior cabin electrical systems, avionics and entertainment systems
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- Experience as a Manufacturing or Industrial engineer in a parts manufacturing environment
