What You’ll Do
- Data Science & Applied Analytics (Primary Focus)
- Work within a team of decision scientists to develop advanced analytics solutions for complex business problems
- Collect data and perform exploratory data analysis
- Present analysis to business owners using concise but compelling narrative and visuals
- Learn new techniques within cloud-based platforms
- Experience
- Internship or professional experience in applied analytics, data science, operational analysis, or related fields
- Technical Skills
- Experience with Python for data manipulation, basic analytics, and / or simple simulations
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Working knowledge of machine learning libraries (Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Soft Skills
- Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to teammates and non‑technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage time and organize tasks with guidance from senior team members

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Exposure to cloud environments like AWS preferred
- Working knowledge of simulation techniques (Discrete event, Agent-based, etc.) preferred
