Purpose
The Construction Project Coordinator ensures the execution of a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Construction Project Coordinator must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical and tactical mind with great organizational skills.
Essential Duties
Procedures
- Obtain and maintain data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, contractors/subcontractors, or other project related entities.
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
- Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
- Manage project related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
- Maintain Project Tracking System: estimated construction start and completion date
- Prepare, provide support, and publish reports, metrics, detailed information documents and communications for project staff.
Quality Control and Data Entry

- Ability to maintain and keep updated project folders and provide documents when requested from multiple departments.
- Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost saving measures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suites(Word, Excel,Powerpoint), Google Drive, Pipeline Suites (Construction bidding software), Outlook, Dropbox. Bluebeam is a plus.
Compliance
- Manage project related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audit are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
- Comfortable with customers, able to develop rapport and diffuse conflict
- Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
Other Duties
- Perform other duties as required.
Supervision
- Works under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Coordinator.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- 2 years experience with Construction, and/or Design firms a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under time and other constraints
- Strong attention to detail and processes
- Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
- Strong analysis and decision-making skills
- Ability to be successful in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of BlueBeam a plus
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Pay range is $22.00-$24.00/HR DOE
Working Conditions
- Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Regular and on-time attendance.
- 24/7 on call. Will regularly work over 40 hours per week
- Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
