Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cement Supervisor/Cement Pump Operator role based in Roosevelt, UT. The person in this role will oversee cementing operations, including preparing cement mixes, setting up and operating cement pumps, monitoring pressure and flow rates, and ensuring jobs are completed according to specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, performing basic maintenance, coordinating with field crews and dispatch, documenting job details, and following all company and regulatory safety procedures. The role also involves loading and unloading materials, troubleshooting equipment issues in the field, and supporting other team members to maintain efficient, high-quality service for customers.
Qualifications
- Experience operating cement pumps or similar industrial equipment, with the ability to monitor and adjust controls safely and accurately.
- Knowledge of cementing procedures, mixing processes, and basic mechanical troubleshooting in field or industrial environments.
- Strong commitment to safety, including following written procedures, using personal protective equipment, and participating in safety trainings.
- Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding conditions, including lifting moderate weights and standing for extended periods.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with supervisors, crew members, and customers on-site.
- Basic recordkeeping skills to document job details, equipment usage, and materials according to company standards.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Roosevelt, UT worksite; ability to work flexible or extended hours as needed.
- Prior experience in oilfield, construction, or industrial services is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
