WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, logistics, and team leadership. This individual will ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, safety compliance, and exceptional service levels across B2B, Ecommerce, Retail, and Wholesale channels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who works alongside the team while driving accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, fulfillment, packing, shipping, and returns.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders while maintaining high service levels.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse staff while creating a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including productivity, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipping.
- Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Partner with Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service teams to support business objectives.
- Manage freight, parcel, and transportation activities while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse processes, workflow optimization, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee warehouse organization, equipment maintenance, and facility operations.
Requirements
- 5 years of warehouse management experience in a distribution, fulfillment, ecommerce, wholesale, or consumer products environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading and developing warehouse teams.
- Strong background in inventory management, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and logistics.
- Experience managing freight, parcel, LTL, and transportation operations.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze KPIs and implement process improvements that increase productivity and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- College degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
