Warehouse Distribution Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Distribution Manager to lead daily warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and distribution operations.

This is a hands-on, floor-focused management role. The Manager will spend significant time on the warehouse floor directing employees, managing workflow, resolving operational issues, and ensuring orders are completed accurately and shipped on schedule.

This position reports to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor, directing daily workflow, employees, priorities, and productivity.
• Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, order verification, packing, staging, shipping, inventory movement, and distribution.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, including real-time verification of products, quantities, and conversions.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor allocation, and daily employee assignments based on workload and priorities.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and investigate shortages, discrepancies, shipping errors, damages, and returns.
• Ensure incoming products are accurately received, properly stored, and available for order fulfillment.
• Lead, train, coach, and hold warehouse employees accountable for productivity, accuracy, safety, attendance, and overall performance.
• Monitor key KPIs, including order accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, productivity, returns, and labor utilization.
• Identify and implement improvements in warehouse layout, workflow, picking processes, material movement, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce warehouse SOPs and company safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot daily operational issues and make real-time decisions to keep orders and shipments on schedule.
• Work closely with purchasing, customer service, sales, and other departments to ensure inventory and customer requirements are met.
