Located on three acres with 350 feet of stunning beachfront, we provide a resort-style setting offering pool, beach, and ocean fun, tennis, fitness, various social activities, dining experiences, and entertainment.

Position Summary: Delray Beach Club is seeking a Pool and Beach Attendant to attend the beach and pool areas. The primary responsibility of the Beach Attendant is to assist members with any requests by being personable, attentive, and adding value to the leisure activities they participate in. The Pool and Beach Concierge is also responsible for grooming the entire beach and pool. Holiday and weekend shifts are necessary for this position. It is necessary to be able to continuously lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise.

· Obtain service area assignments at the start of every shift.

· Greet members promptly and ensure they have all necessary comforts (towels, water, sun lotion, chairs, and umbrellas) when they reach their desired area.

·Fulfill opening, closing, and shared side work duties.

·Be well-versed in weather and beach conditions.

·Practice safety measures, not only by posting daily advisory flags, but also by taking judgment when using equipment and general outdoor activities.

·Wash, dry, fold, and store towels in a proper way.

·Ensure that members adhere to the club's policies.

·Check restroom/lockers every two hours and replenish towels as needed.

·Address member requests in a timely and appropriate manner.

·Provide and serve cocktails.

·Assist with and maintain paddle boards, kayaks, volleyballs, and all other beach sports equipment.

·Use appropriate titles and names when addressing members.

·Show your team spirit by helping out fellow team members whenever it's possible.

·Maintain a high level of personal hygiene.

·Having the ability to respond to emergencies

·Resolves member concerns and informs the Pool and Beach Manager of relevant information.

·Other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

Experience in a private country club or hospitality is preferred. One (1) year of guest service experience and a friendly and courteous demeanor are a must. Drug-free workplace testing will be conducted before employment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

·It is necessary to stand for extended periods.

·Bend, crouch, reach, balance, stretch, and bend.

·Up to 50 pounds can be pushed, pulled, or lifted. Be prepared to carry heavy trays, trash bags, paddle boards, umbrellas, and other items.

·Continuous repetitive movements.

·Work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment.

License and Special Requirement:

Obtaining Serve Safe Certification is necessary, but if you are not yet certified, you must be able to do so. Certificate classes will be provided.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
