THE OPPORTUNITY

The Delray Beach Club is looking for a host/ess.

THE ROLE

At Delray Beach Club, the Host/ess is the welcoming face of our club, responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our members and guests. You will manage the seating flow, handle reservations, and ensure every visitor feels valued from the moment they arrive. Your role is essential to delivering a seamless, exceptional experience in our lively beach club setting.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Greet members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor as they arrive.
• Manage reservation bookings, waitlists, and walk-ins efficiently using our reservation system.
• Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and communicate guest needs to servers.
• Coordinate seating and guest flow to optimize the dining and event experience.
• Answer phones promptly, handle reservation inquiries, and assist with booking adjustments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and entrance area.
• Provide information about club amenities, events, and special promotions.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operation during peak hours and special events.
• Uphold Delray Beach Club’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and member service.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.

• Previous experience as a hostess or in customer service preferred; prior experience in a private country club or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outgoing, approachable, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
• Familiarity with reservation software is a plus.

· Must have open availability/flexible schedule – Weekends, Evenings, and holidays.’

· Must provide work authorization document - proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America
