Key Responsibilities
- Designs and manages detailed project plans, tracking key milestones and adjusting schedules or resources as needed to meet project objectives.
- Oversees or participates in project-related communications with stakeholders across technical SMEs to executive leadership, ensuring clear and consistent updates.
- Identifies and manages cross-project dependencies, establishing priorities to facilitate timely project completion.
- Detects potential risks early and develops appropriate risk response strategies to mitigate impact.
- Guides issues to resolution, escalating obstacles to appropriate levels when necessary.
- Oversees the development of business requirements aligned with project objectives and manages scope to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
- Implements and monitors project processes related to application integration services such as Enterprise Service Bus, Messaging Broker, and file transfer solutions.
- Coordinates with diverse subject matter experts and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Communicates project status, issues, and risks effectively through formal presentations and meetings.
- Ensures project compliance with technical standards and organizational policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar training.
- 5 years of project management experience managing medium to complex IT projects.
- Strong technological aptitude with system and process analysis skills.
- Experience with IIB MQ, Axway Secure Transfer, Connect Direct, IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Control Center, and IBM Sterling Secure Proxy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Ability to influence successfully in a highly matrixed or virtual organization.
- Some travel may be required.
- Working knowledge of application integration services such as Enterprise Service Bus, Messaging Broker, file transfer, and PaaS.
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments with complex integration projects.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application integration solutions.
- Prior experience managing projects with cross-organizational dependencies.
- Strong business acumen and presentation skills.
