Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices and continuous improvement across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile frameworks, team coaching, and scaled Agile environments, helping teams deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives).
- Coach and mentor teams in Agile principles, ensuring effective adoption of Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban practices.
- Guide teams toward continuous improvement and higher delivery maturity.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure clear communication of priorities, goals, and deliverables.
- Support and remove impediments for the team to ensure successful sprint and release execution.
- Encourage the use of Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Testing practices.
- Leverage Agile tools such as JIRA, AgileCraft, VersionOne, or TFS to maintain transparency and track progress.
- Participate in scaled Agile (SAFe) initiatives, aligning team-level efforts with broader program and portfolio objectives.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, empowerment, and accountability across cross-functional teams.
- Experience: 4–6 years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Agile Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration/Testing.
- Coaching Skills: Proven ability to coach new and existing teams in Agile best practices to improve delivery and team dynamics.
- Scaled Agile Experience: Experience working within or supporting a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment (preferred).
- Agile Tools: Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, AgileCraft, VersionOne, or TFS).
- Worth Authorization: US Citizen
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Agile Coach (PMI-ACP, ICA-ACC), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC)
- Agile Certification (preferred)
- Experience supporting product development or technology-driven projects
- Demonstrated ability to implement Agile technologies across diverse cultures and environments
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
