Our client is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect to lead the design, integration, and strategic development of multi-domain IAM systems in a remote capacity. This role involves collaborating with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise teams to establish standards, deliver technical solutions, and oversee complex system integrations across diverse platforms and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualifies, designs, and strategizes multi-domain IAM systems to meet enterprise security and operational needs.
- Provides advanced technical escalation support for project blockers and operational troubleshooting within IAM environments.
- Facilitates the development and implementation of standards and guidelines to enable effective technology solution design.
- Architects and implements IAM solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise.
- Collaborates with IAM, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams to brief on industry best practices, recommend technological directions, and influence program strategies.
- Delivers technical guidance and solutions to business and project teams to ensure secure and efficient identity management.
- Works closely with external partners to provide oversight and direction on IAM initiatives.
- Leads new technology integration efforts through requirements analysis, design, and implementation.
- Assists in developing methods to measure and report on IAM system performance and reliability.
- 9 years of experience in complex architecture domains or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep technical expertise in IAM systems and integration.
- Extensive experience with authentication and authorization IAM domains, including LDAP and Active Directory.
- Strong background in identity management, with experience in NetIQ/Opentext IDM a plus.
- Proven experience in privileged access management, with CyberArk experience a plus.
- Knowledge of recertification IAM domains, with Opentext IGA experience a plus.
- Requisite certifications related to IAM or cybersecurity.
- Ability to work remotely and manage projects using multiple methodologies and technologies.
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and diagramming skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and JIRA.
- Experience with additional IAM platforms and tools.
- Strong conflict-resolution skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in regulated or sensitive industry environments.
