Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to help deliver an outstanding patient experience.
As a Medical Assistant, you'll work closely with physicians and patients while assisting with clinical care, scheduling, communication, and front-office support.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Perform patient intake and update medical histories
- Assist providers during patient visits
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
- Track patient communications, messages, and follow-up needs
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments
- Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Answer phones and assist with front desk responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to improve workflows and patient satisfaction
- Support the practice in both clinical and administrative functions as needed
QualificationsRequired
- Medical Assistant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using technology and electronic medical records
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- College degree (preferred but not required)
- Previous experience in primary care or outpatient medical practice
