As a Project - Software Engineer III on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for:

We help transform engineering teams, modernize technology, & deliver complex programs with a product engineering mindset. Our flexible delivery models- traditional teams, pools, or pods, are tailored for each client's needs, offering engineering-led Advise, Implement, & Operate capabilities to accelerate innovation.
The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Work you'll do
As a Project - Software Engineer III on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing APIs, including specifications, endpoints, data models, and protocols
- Contributing production-grade code for core services in a hands-on development environment
- Performing code reviews with team leads to support code quality, maintainability, and security
- Collaborating closely with the Engineering Crew Lead and API Architect on solution delivery
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting day-to-day technical execution
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with the RSpec testing framework
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining application programming interfaces (APIs)
- Experience leading engineering teams while contributing hands-on to software development
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Experience with application security principles and secure development practices
- Experience with Git version control
- Experience with OAuth
- Experience with asynchronous job processing tools such as Sidekiq
- Experience with Spring Boot and Java

Salary : $95,600 - $188,400
